In the aftermath of
The Dragon's capture The Dragon's Hoard was fractured. Each of its captains having vastly different ideas with how to proceed forward. Amongst them, an Oromancer named
Midas managed to gather enough captains through former loyalties and bribes that the majority of the former Dragons Hoard answered to him.
Unlike his predecessor
The Dragon who was able to control his captains through threat of his power, Midas made up for it with his thorough planning. Renamed Hoard, the gang quietly withdrew from the spotlight, giving up territory in the wake of the
Sentinels encroachment. And the overwhelming presence that the gang once had was subdued. Respecting the loss of their heavies hitter, Midas was able to reform Hoard into a smaller yet still impressive Gang.
With the precautions that Midas took, he was able to preserve many of Hoard's important assets, such as their brothels and casinos. Many of Hoard's members have a poor reputation due to the gangs general exploitative nature. While Hoard experienced a large organizational restructuring, many of its gang members still wear the yellow's and blacks of The Hoard.
As the years passed, the Hoard slowly regained heavier hitters, although maintained their more discrete operations.
