Frysta (/ˈfɹaɪːza/)
Geography
Frysta is a bleak and frigid island residing near the edge of the Material. It is extremely cold, and well known living space for many White Dragons, making the cold even more deadly.
The land is covered in icy spires and tall mountains. Travel is nearly impossible without magical means, or an extremely knowledgeable guide.
Localized Phenomena
Near the southern most tip of the island is a mountain in the shape of a upward crescent made entirely of ice and snow, with a perpetual blizzard that tears apart anything stupid or unlucky enough to get too close. It's said that there is an ancient sleeping beast within the ice, and if let out, the end times would come.
History
Frysta used to be tropical island bustling with tourism until one day, shortly after Dragonfall, a mountain of ice appeared overnight with an earthquake. Slowly snow storms became more and more popular before nearly the entire island was covered in snow and ice.
