Halvatun
Halvatun is one of the three glacial lakes in the center of Yfirland. It is the easternmost and southernmost lake, closest to the Gulf of Eltan. Halvatun receives most of its water from Lake Gutavatun above it, but a few small rivers also feed into it.
Its southern coast is the only portion of any of the lakes not controlled by the Vandir. The southern shores mark the northern border of the Thalkunir rikja of Mirikja, a powerful kingdom. The rest of its shores are the wintering grounds of the eastern Vandir tribes.
Halvatun is also known for being the home of the only known species of freshwater rostung whose breeding grounds line its more inaccessible shores.
