The World

Ashar is a kinetic, water dominated world orbiting a large yellow sun, Kal which is in a binary system with a smaller, red sun Bal. Orbiting Ashar are three moons. The largest is Han, a blue-green moon. Second in size is the blue-white Lum. Smallest is the slightly irregular red-orange moon, Tol. Due to the energy from its two suns and the influence of its three moons, tides and volcanism are strong in Ashar.

Ashar has nine known continents. Seven small continents make up the continental cluster of Torvalen. These continents are: Barendar, Heimval, Kalmasa, Kemesh, Okaluan and Volenar. Much larger and far separated are the continents Utanar and Xusmalat.

The universe in which Ashar exists is a jewel of order floating in a sea of formless potentiality and disconnected concepts. It is a subtle, pervasive source of creation and destruction that some can harness to their will.
