Bashuku

The main land route between Nanganato and Zonyashi runs north along the western edge of Lake Kohu and then east across a bidge right where the Nigawa runs into the lake. The settlement that grew here was originally called Bashi no Shuku (Town of the Bridge in Shudani). The descendents of the Li Qu shortened this to Bashishuku and then Bashuku.
The current population is around 900.

Government

The town is part of the Southern Province largely overseen by the Atsutane Clan. The current Regent is Hiromi Atsutane.

Peacekeeping & Military

The South Guard run by the Atsutanes serve as the peace keeping force and in times of need can function as a small military as well.

Temple of Natsugawa

Large temple dedicated to the worship of Natsugawa.
