Andack Mountains

Geography

Located on the northern edge of the continent which became the Kingdom of Aon, it is a natural barrier against the tidal pool created by the Predurian Ocean and Errosoma Ocean. This mountain range is a series of interconnected mountains that no has bothered to name individually and many have never had the urge to explore. This is a place of rocks and crags with a few wide, flat ledges (a couple of which are large enough for a building). On the areas that most see, there is very little vegetation and no animals to speak of. But the other side, and in some of the crags, there's world no one (not even the three survivors of the Jalan Tribe Massacre) has found. It is a lush world, almost tropical, because of the tidal pool from the oceans. There are beautiful waterfalls and animals who thrive in this environment, animals that don't fear the mortals on the other side of the range. It's because of several of these waterfalls the Jalan Tribe survivors were able dig a well for water on the flat ledge one found to build Figúr Dubh on, a refuge for them, and one that was never found as there's only one path through the mountains to it. The capital is nestled at the base of this mountain range, butting up against it.

Climate

The climate in the lower parts of the range match what the Kingdom goes through. The higher up one goes, the cooler it gets. Despite the lower temperatures at the higher altitudes, very rarely does it get any snow. This has to do with the tropical world hidden within this range, the one fed by the whirlpool of the two oceans.

Fauna & Flora

Unknown at this time. Perhaps one day this world will have its own Dian Fossey to study and protect the flora and fauna in this area.

Tourism

This isn't really a tourist type spot. The suvivors of the Jalan Tribe used this as a base and a refuge. Eventually, this spot (after becoming a ruin) was found by a supernatural from the Darktide Defenders who restored the building and used it as a refuge and training center for Shadowwalkers who become assassins.
