Tangwyn
Geography
There was one continent when Morgance made Tangwyn. It was lush with plains, plenty of fresh water, and plenty of land for everyone to share. Things changed when The Shattering happened. New rivers and lakes sprang up. Mountains came into being when previously there weren't any and a few of these mountains became a natural barrier to one of the areas.
The Shattering split the continent into two, separated by the Predurian Ocean. The west coast of what was left of the Kingdom of Aon was left pretty desolate and known as the Obsidian Coast, where as the name suggests, obsidian is found along with other gems. South of this is a woody region of the Kingdom.
On the opposite side of the Kingdom, where the Errosoma Ocean laps, the south is covered in a lot of lakes and marshes. The coast on this side is a buttery color and fine sand. A lot of grassland covers the majority of the land.
The other continent was a mix of fertile land and desert before The Shattering. Now it is just one massive desert with cave systems and only a couple of above ground settlements.
In the Kingdom of Aon, some of the landscape changed after. Around 55,000 mi2 became desert after the Civil War due to a magickal fire shield. At the end of the Civil War, on the eastern side (directly opposite the Obsidian Coast), the coast became known as the Blood Coast, again by magickal means and at great cost to a large number of people.

Climate
The climate is relatively stable.
The desert of the second continent is hot and dry with very little rainfall.
The Kingdom of Aon (which shattered into five kingdoms after the Civil War) has a short, harsh winter that lasts roughly three moon's cycles. Most of this land is affected by hot temptures during the day that require people to do their work in the mornings and evenings.
Fauna & Flora
Many animals could be found in a variety of locations before the Civil War, but some animals are limited to certain areas.
In the Kingdom of Ajana, which is surrounded by a fire shield, has tiny, fur covered animals similar to mice and rats. They also have Madfalls and Neidrs, as well as other animals that suited to desert life.
Where as in the Kingdom of Babylos only the very hardy thrive because the Thanatoic Energy in this Kingdom. But birds like Fwlturs have adapted to live off eating dead bodies.
Pous while native to the Kingdom of Manzi area have a small habitat in the southern part of the Kingdom of Merkan.
Other creatures in the Kingdom of Merkan are Palyrs, Mochyn, and Buchod, among others.
The main animal in the Kingdom of Natal is the Dragonets.

Good read. Makes me wonder what might have happened to a species that lived on the continent and had populations split onto both sides. How would they have diverged? How did the magickal war affect one of the populations?
