Province of Khelon

Geography

The major attraction here is the Andack Mountains. Other than that is flat land that is perfect for farming. There are some copses that dot the area, offering shade. The next big thing is Deufray Lake, though there is contention with the Province of Toryn about who actually gets to claim it.

History

The history of this province is closely tied to the capital and to the Crown. Eventually it became one of three provinces claimed by Tuathal near the end of the Civil War, when he established the Kingdom of Merkan.

Tourism

Not necessarily a tourist spot, all classes travel to through the province to go to capital when they want to seek an audience with the King and Queen. Merchants travel to the capital to sell and buy goods.
