Eden
The first system discovered following the activation of the first Gate, Eden was named because it contained three unique planets suitable for life, as well as other planets and asteroids in the system being rich sources of Iso-10. Eden is now the beating heart of the Core Systems, and the Colonial Earth Empire as a whole. Influence all around the galaxy is exerted from this system and ripples of the backroom politics done here can be felt in star systems millions of Astro Years away. Those who live within the Core Systems show a higher standard of life above those around them, even if many who live here are in poverty. It is also where the wealthiest of the Empire reside and conduct their politics, seeking the favor of the senate, the courts, or the emperor herself.
