Procopian Shipping Lane

Purpose / Function

This hyperlane is the direct route from the Shapani Bypass at Tallaan System through Procopia System and then onward up to Reena System. Along the way, it connects to the Giju Run, the Three Ellas Run, both segments of the Gambler's Run, the Calipsa Run, the Leozi Route, and ends at the Caloria Run.

There is not a lot of piracy on this hyperspace lane because nobody, and I mean nobody, wants to be the personal favorite hobby of some twenty-something Vor Lord and her entire allotment of bored Armsman, all because they made off with her new blaster-resistant court dress. Or delayed arrival of ingredients for her tea cakes.

The Venn Run is, in fact, a longer route, passing along the edges of more star systems, and that's not to mention the parts of it outside the Tapani Sector entirely. However:
1) It's still a closely-kept fact, not exactly a secret any more, but discussed only vaguely in most circumstances.
2) It's extremely hazardous. It passes through nebulae and awfully close to massive hazards such as black holes, pulsars, and supernovae.
The greater volume of travel will continue to occur on the Procopian Shipping Lane for the foreseeable future.
