D-Type
The D-Type is one of the source types of the Fons Type classification system used by the Academia Ars Magicka et Mundana.
D-Type (also called Divine Magick) is classified as any Magick which stems from a wielder's connection to a force, being or entity native to a realm beyond the Prime World Disk or in rare cases native to the space between Realms.
Such Magick is usually described as being "granted" but the actual process by which a wielder receives such powers is not properly documented.
Within Styx the most common source of D-Type Magick is the Goddess Serkatha and her Saints with around 92% of wielders of D-Type Magick being clerics, inquisitors, Martial Saints or other members of the Church of Serkatha.
Other sources of such Magick include the native inhabitants of the Thirteen-point-one-two-seven-nine Hells ( Devils ), the Weirdwyld ( Demons ), the Elemental Realms(Elementals), the Fey Realms(Faeries) or other Realms.
