Assets
House Bellgrave controls the many gold, diamond, and ore mines in Diamondfeld and reap their monetary benefits. As such, they are the wealthiest of the four families.
History
House Bellgrave was originally a small house in Diamondfeld who pledged fealty to House Brutoris. They served as loyal retainers for several centuries until Lord Jonah Bellgrave succeeded his father as the House patriarch and made the decision to betray his liege lord during the War of Four Suits. Following the conclusion of the War in 1372 AB, Empress Eunisia Rosewood bestowed the title of Duke upon Jonah Bellgrave for his pivotal role in ending the conflict, elevating the once small house to the apex of status and power attainable in the Empire.
Demography and Population
Though it rivals the Heartland in size, Diamondfeld's sprawling moors are largely unpopulated. The terrain consists mainly of open plains dotted with the occasional forest, but there are also mountainous regions where the ore mines are located.
Territories
House Bellgrave governs Diamondfeld, the second largest of the Empire's territories.
Military
House Bellgrave and it's bannermen in Diamondfeld are well known for their military prowess. It was for this reason that the Brutoris rebellion was able to push so far into the Heartland.
