The Holy Empire of Concordia, colloquially known as Holy Concordia or simply Concordia, reigns as a vast superstate nestled in the southernmost reaches of the Continent. Bordered by the Jubal Plains to the North and the Zalukan Dynasty to the East, Concordia boasts a rigid caste system and an authoritarian government dominated by the High Temple.Geography

Concordian society is structured along a caste system , with varying degrees of freedoms and privileges allocated based on one's class. High Concoridan serves as the official language, primarily spoken by the empire's aristocracy, while common speech predominates among the populace.Government
While officially governed by the Emperor of Concordia , who has been absent from public view for several decades, true authority lies in the hands of the High Temple . This religious institution wields absolute power, overseeing three key factions: the Army, the Senate, and the Guilds.-Concordian Army.

The senate is made up of a number of aristocrats and land owners who pass the laws responsible for governing the empire. All laws are subject to approval from the High temple.-Guilds of Concordia.
The guilds are granted autonomy from most of the country's laws in return for specialized services they provide. The exact number of guilds and what they do is known only to the high temple.Religion
The Emperor of Concordia is revered as the incarnation of The White Pillar. He is seen as as both a deity and the official head of state, with his High Temple serving as the conduit between the divine and mortal realms. A network of priests, acting as spiritual leaders and enforcers of the temple's will, extends its influence throughout the empire. All forms of worship outside the confines of the High Temple are strictly prohibited within Concordia's borders, ensuring the supremacy of the state religion.Law and Order
Concordian stability is maintained by several factions, primarily through the fear instilled by the High Temple, which holds absolute power and can decree punishment for any offense as it sees fit. The established laws of the land are enforced by a regonal seat of power or local branches of the Concordian Defence Force. For issues beyond the capabilities of a CDF branch, appeals are made to the Ivory Blades , a knightly order that operates within Concordia's borders, providing additional strength and authority.Locations
