Fulgur Percutien is born in Carrow, a town on Arcon, an island north-east of mainland Valorshire. He is a Half-Elf born to a Human mother and an Elven father.
Throughout his childhood, Fulgur faced discrimination for his Elven heritage and was bullied by many within the community and refused access to basic services. A resentment built up around this and a struggle to find a sense of belonging.
Eventually a group of smugglers pass through the town of Carrow and Fulgur meets them and is surprised to find an Elven woman existing and being welcomed among them. Keen to find that same sense of belonging, Fulgur decides to leave Carrow and join them.
The Elf whose name was Mythanar would grow close to the young Fulgur and would train him and help him develop as a gifted and effective Wizard.
Fulgur Percutien spends some time working among the smugglers, and learns the tricks of the trade before going on to sail the seas and succeed as a notorious pirate, with he and Mythanar going their separate ways whilst Mythanar went on to spend time settling down in Lower Mastoria with a Fagan named Broadne Tique.
In the course of his time as a pirate, Fulgur discovers clues to the location of an ancient treasure hidden on an island in the Amberic Sea. Here he was devastated by the brutal magical defences and lost much of his crew. He made his escape back to his ship and fled the island with few of his crew left alive.
Over the coming days, Fulgur would feel his health deteriorating and would know that his life was leaving him. With little strength next, he would take his ship and dock in the port of Martinbrakt. He would tell his crew to go on without him, and share with them a final and heartfelt goodbye before allowing them to depart.
Fulgur would contact Mythanar and the two would agree to travel together and work together to find a way to save him. Without the finances to fund their journey, the two would travel to the city of Arkeluw to seek out help from Broadne Tique.
The two would reach the city and for a while, Fulgur would live in Tique's Tocks Tower, taking time to get to know Broadne Tique and his son Kostantin Tique.

Hoping to help pay his way and help prepare for his venture with Mythanar, Fulgur decides to take up work as a mercenary, and accepts an assignment working for the Mulkwast patriarch Wlad Mulkwast in order to help clear a nest of Wyvern living close to his mountain estate.
Fulgur would travel up the mountain in a rented carriage sent to him by Wlad Mulkwast and would arrive at Mulkwast Manor. Here he would arrive in time to meet and get to know his fellow mercenaries including Buggy, Lucky, Anpu Winkybits, Brie Tealeaf, Cowabunga Peppermill, and Ackio.
The group would venture out with the mansions groundskeeper Gottfried Goss and with him would ascend to scout out the Wyvern den. The group arrive to find a Wyvern hatchling pawing devastatedly at it's mother who had been slaughtered by what appeared to be a feral animal. Seeing the group, the Hatchling snarled in rage and charged at Gottfried, sparking a battle between the Hatchling and the party.
The group worked together and were able to fell the beast and took its carcass back to Mulkwast Manor. The group were rewarded by an elegant dinner with the Mulkwast family where they discussed politics and life in the mountains.
Shortly following this dinner, the group retired to the parlour to drink together and enjoy their evening. The group brought in progressively more alcohol and this rendered Fulgur Percutien so intoxicated that Ackio and Anpu had to help him back to his room.

The group of mercenaries were awoken as a group of thralls stormed the guest wing of the mansion and slaughtered the guests in their beds. Awoken by the screams, the drunken Fulgur Percutien burst from the room and began to ward off the monsters with magic. After a drawn out skirmish, the group slay the thralls and identify them as servants of the Mulkwast family. At this point Anpu Winkybits reveals that she had been studying the sinister nature of the Mulkwast family and suspects that they might all be Vampires.
The group accompany her to the library where they discuss what they might best do next, but are taken to flight when Cowabunga Peppermill rings a servant's bell and springs a track which sends a vast horde of thralls barrelling towards them. At first the group assemble in a formation and try their best to hold off the tide of monsters, but as their numbers grow overwhelming, the group turn and flee through the mansion. They eventually find their way to the shelter of the home's chapel where they find some innate magical protection that wards off their foes. In the aftermath of their escape, the group discover that Sir Torin had fallen behind and had been felled by the horde.
When the servants clear the hall, the group depart and move towards the front door of the property and find it locked and themselves left trapped within. They discuss methods by which they might make their escape, but are interrupted by the sound of a man running down the hall. Lucky would knock the man to the ground believing him to be a threat but they all instead discover him to be a Paladin of Sir Torin's order named Sir Edric Spencer, and a mercenary like them. He explains that he had arrived at Mulkwast Manor only the night before and he had since been hiding, desperately trying to evade the many perils that sought to destroy him.
He would admit that he had been fleeing from Wiktor Mulkwast, the eldest son of Wlad Mulkwast, and his sadistic violence. The group all agree to go and face him together and find him in the mansion's central hall.
A fight ensues where Fulgur is slashed by the Vampire Wiktor Mulkwast and nearly killed. He is rescued at the last moment by Buggy who drives the monster back with his spear until the rest of the group can strike a killing blow against the monster.
Wounded but alive, Fulgur returns to the chapel where Ackio tends to his wounds. The group agree to venture out again and split up to search the house. Fulgur accompanies Sir Edric Spencer and Buggy as they make their way through the greenhouse and out into the grounds. They do not make it far before they are intercepted by a pack of wolves that force them to flee back into the mansion.
As they retreat down the trail back towards the greenhouse, Sir Edric turns and pushes Fulgur back into the path of the wolves and locks the greenhouse door behind him. Fulgur barely escapes the attacks of the wolves and escapes into the grounds whilst Sir Edric Spencer lies to Buggy and claims that Fulgur tried to kill him.
Fulgur reenters the mansion via the library window and meets up with Anpu Winkybits and Cowabunga Peppermill as they search the mansion. During their exploration, a separate group of survivors once again trigger a servant bell which once again summons the thralls of the mansion.
The group retreat but they do not have time to make it back to safety and are forced to barricade themselves inside of the library. They slaughter thralls as they try to force their way through the splintered door. They are not capable of halting the tide however and the thralls break through and begin to swarm across the room. Cowabunga is knocked to the ground and manages to hide himself beneath a table whilst Anpu and Fulgur are separated.
Fulgur climbs up the stairway and onto the walkway where he uses magic to keep his enemies at bay. He over-exerts his use of magic however and is finally caught up with and cast down by the thralls.
The bodies of Anpu Winkybits and Fulgur Percutien are dragged down to the mansion kitchens and there Anpu who had only been knocked unconscious awakens to find herself skewered on a meat hook, and turns to see the body of Fulgur Percutien, with his arm and leg having already been removed, carved and left to boil in a cauldron.
The ghost of Fulgur Percutien would later emerge to aide Buggy, Anpu Winkybits and Ackio in their final confrontation with Wlad Mulkwast, and his spirit watches as these three survivors finally escape from the nightmare of Mulkwast Manor.
