Personal history

10th Samarjeń 209 5E   Anpu Winkybits is a Rakshasa from one of the petty-kingdoms of Inkbar named Jahirana.   When she was a child, Anpu was sold into slavery by her parents, and made a prisoner of the Rakshasa Prince Rao Jahir. She was subjected to gruesome experiments, alongside an Elf named Quintus.   At the apex of Prince Rao's experiments, he completed a ritual which transported Anpu Winkybits to the parallel dimension of Vede. Here she met the Demon Marani.   After years studying under Marani's guidance, Anpu became her warlock and travelled back to Vilia to serve her mistresses interests. Marani has a connection to life, death and the afterlife, and so employed Anpu Winkybits to aide others in finding peace in death.   In the course of her services to Marani, Anpu was sent to Lower Mastoria in order to investigate a disturbance of the undead around the mountain of Mulkwast.   Upon arriving in the city of Arkeluw, Anpu sees an advertisement for mercenary work being provided by Wlad Mulkwast, Patriarch of the Mulkwast of the Sixth Circle.   30th Judarjeń 269 5E   Anpu Winkybits arrives at Mulkwast Manor where she is employed to assist in clearing out a Wyvern Den. She accompanies a group of adventurers, and the Manor groundskeeper Gottfried Goss and finds a Wyvern hatchling looking mournfully at her dead mother, who seems to have been savaged by some vicious animal. The panicked hatchling attacks and the party are forced to kill it.   The group return to Mulkwast Manor and share dinner with Wlad Mulkwast before they are offered the chance to stay the night in the guest quarters.   1st Skrabarjeń 269 5E   Anpu is awoken when she and the other adventurers are attacked by servants of the house, who under the cover of the night have grown feral. Over the course of the night, she and her fellow adventurers are subjected to a brutal gauntlet of attacks from these thralls, along with Wiktor Mulkwast whom she and her companions are successful in vanquishing.   She goes on to find herself separated from her party, and making her way through the house alongside Fulgur Percutien and Cowabunga Peppermill. They unwittingly trigger a trap which tells the Thralls where they are and they find themselves trapped in the library where they are overwhelmed by their attackers. Anpu wakes up in the kitchens of Mulkwast Manor, attached to a meat hook alongside the lifeless corpse of Fulgur Percutien, who has already lost multiple limbs to the cook's pot.   Anpu manages to pull herself from the meat hook and sneaks out to freedom, she meets Feta Coffeebean and together they find the Vampire Dymitri Mulkwast, and an undead Sir Torin. They assist him to take his own life, before then continuing to reunite with Buggy, Ackio, and Neya.   The party confront Walerija Mulkwast in the ballroom and are stunned as her magic warps the mind of Buggy and inspires him to attack them. Between the two of them, she, Ackio, Neya and Feta Coffeebean are all knocked unconscious.   She finally meets the Vampire Wlad Mulkwast who reveals that he has been testing adventurers' mettle. He explains that there is a great evil rising up in the East, and he needs warriors to oppose it. He offers to give her the power of the Vampire, however she, Ackio, Neya and Buggy refuse. The three of them fight Wlad Mulkwast and reduce him to shadow.   As the sun rises, the three of them take carriages back to Arkeluw, where they receive their pay in full, and stay at the Cliff's View Hotel in order to recuperate.   7th Skrabarjeń 269 5E   After recuperating in the Cliff's View Hotel for a week, Anpu, Ackio and Neya are given a tour of Arkeluw by an employee of the Cliff's View Hotel named Sarlaren. As they wander the streets of Arkeluw, she watches as the Wayfarer Yahn attacks and kills a thief who stole a Dallan holy symbol from him. He gets to talking to the trio and accompanies them to go drinking at a bar on the dockyard.   Whilst they are here they witness a meteor falling from the sky, it crashes down in the city slums, and the group rush to investigate. They find the crater, and multiple houses alight with fire. They discover a strange Dwarf emerging from the crater, and a mysterious cult who try to kidnap him.   Anpu devotes most of her efforts to moving from house to house, rescuing civilians from the fire. She is enraged to see that rather than helping to save the people, Sarlaren seems more interested in stealing their belongings.   When she has finished her work, Anpu discovers that the strange Dwarf is dead and his body has been stolen by the cult. She also watches as a Demonic portal opens and drags Neya into Vede.   8th Skrabarjeń 269 5E   As she sleeps, Anpu receives a vision of her patron Marani who shows her that her friend Quintus is still alive. She agrees to help her find Quintus if in exchange she enter the Deep and find the unnatural power that resides there.   The next day, Anpu agrees to help Yahn and Ackio investigate the Crimson Dawn. A clock-maker named Kostantin Tique overhears their conversation and offers to join them in their quest. Likewise, an odd and violent Barbarian named Ino is present and insists on joining them as well.   Sarlaren takes them to Bram Brazmluw and they bribe the jailers to allow them to visit a cultist captured by the Orekun. When they find him, Kostantin Tique suggests that they try to free him and fight their way out of the Deep.   Anpu, Yahn, Ackio and Ino agree to the plan and they kill multiple guards before rushing to make their escape. They do not do so subtly, and end up being attacked by the Bauk that guard the Deep. They barely escape with their lives and rush to rally the other prisoners, hoping to escape as part of a mass prison break.   They rally multiple prisoners including a Dwarf named Greinn, a man named Ludo, and a particularly enthusiastic prisoner whom they nickname "Snowflake".   They fight their way free of the Deep, but are met with the full force of the garrison at Bram Brazmluw. Eventually they are overwhelmed, and the Captain Symon Storme convinces them to surrender by threatening to kill the captive Cowabunga Peppermill, a survivor of Mulkwast Manor. They are taken as prisoners and paraded through the streets of Arkeluw, before being interred in the dungeon of Branek Arkenank.   10th Skrabarjeń 269 5E   Anpu Winkybits, Ackio, Cowabunga Peppermill, Yahn, Sarlaren, Ludo, and Kostantin Tique are all made to face a Tribunal, comprising of Iona Arkenank, Captain Symon Storme, and Artur Nazar. Whilst Cowabunga Peppermill is found innocent, the rest are sentenced to death.   That night, the group are brought before Lady Iona Arkenank, who offers to spare their lives if they devote their lives to serving her. She requests that they work for her and continue their investigation into the Crimson Dawn cult. Anpu Winkybits agrees and is branded as a criminal guilty of the highest crimes. In order to ensure their obedience, she keeps Ackio and Ludo as hostages   Kostantin Tique attempts to use magic to escape punishment by teleporting into the River Ojo, but his manacles weigh him down. On the edge of drowning, he pulls himself up onto the rocks and is rescued by a pair of fishermen.   11th Skrabarjeń 269 5E   The fishermen plan to take to Kostantin Tique back to Branek Arkenank with the hope that they might receive a reward. When Anpu, Ino, and Yahn discover the fishermen however, they murder Kostantin Tique, hoping to take him back to Bramek Arkenank and claim their reward for killing him. The fishermen are slain by the group.   Over the next few days, the group continue their investigation of the Crimson Dawn, thwarting their attempt to kidnap a professor named Glemori. They learn that the cult might be taking interest in the ancient lost Dwarven city of Fungasuf. They also take time to explore the Red Market, where Anpu meets the Devil of the Marketplace, a Rakshasa who introduces Anpu to the other Rakshasa of Arkeluw and helps her to further hone her abilities as a Warlock.   In this time they meet a Gnome called Pallof Gimgy, who reveals that he has made a home for himself in the remains of a house destroyed by the meteor. This place becomes known as Pallof's Crater, and becomes a base of operations for the group.   In time her patron communicates with her and expresses frustration that Anpu did not take the time to discover the power that lay within the Deep. Marani reveals to her images of Quintus, and warns her that She can easily see him punished for her absconding from her responsibilities.   18th Skrabarjeń 269 5E   Anpu Winkybits is elated to discover that her friend Feta Coffeebean survived the incident at Mulkwast Manor, as the two reunite in the slums of Arkeluw. The two visit the Red Market along with Ino, Yahn, and a Gnome called Pallof Gimgy. Yahn, Ino and Pallof are ambushed however, and Anpu is horrified when in order to protect them, Feta tears out a thug's throat and drinks his blood, revealing herself to be a Vampire.   Feta Coffeebean flees the scene and Anpu struggles to find her again.   Later, they discover that the thugs were attempting to kill them in order to collect on a bounty placed on them by Broadne Tique, who blames them for the death of his son Kostantin Tique.   20th Skrabarjeń 269 5E   Anpu Winkybits attends the funeral of Kostantin Tique, and uses her magic to briefly restore Kostantin to his body, allowing his father five final questions to ask his son, and one final conversation. He expresses how much he loves his son and finds peace in knowing that his son died fighting for something that he believed in. He is devastated by the loss, but realises that he was wrong to blame Kostantin's companions and friends.   Anpu returns to the meteor crater where she has been making her home, and is there ambushed by bounty hunters. They struggle against them and are overwhelmed, until Broadne Tique arrives and helps them fight them off, sacrificing his life to protect Anpu and her friends.   27th Skrabarjeń 269 5E   A rockslide opens the prison known as the Deep and sends a swarm of Bauk into the streets of Arkeluw, spreading chaos throughout the city. Many prisoners escape in the aftermath. Anpu Winkybits decides to follow the instructions of her patron Marani and depart Arkeluw. Sarlaren decides to go with her.
