The Last Storme: Session 8 - Fishbowl

Lokanth Wursor remains awake in his house, keeping an eye on the Groundskeeper waiting outside his door. As the sun begins to rise, drowsiness takes over, bringing forth haunting images of his brother's murder at the hands of different assailants. Just as he awakens, Russell Tideborn knocks on his door and shares his plans. Lokanth realizes that the Groundskeeper has left during this time.
Soon after, Lokanth tends to the gardens around the Medical Building and seizes the chance to transform into a spider, sneaking into the office of Doctor Walmdas Kluw.
Inside Doctor Walmdas' office, Lokanth eavesdrops on the conversation between Sister Prudence and the Doctor, uncovering the true identity of the killer and the existence of Subject Three. While still in his transformed state, he also overhears the arrival of Doctor Ada Arztin, who turns out to be Subject Two, the murderer responsible for multiple deaths.
Meanwhile, Doctor Wiliam Wosow equips Ajax Wursor with enchanted armor and sends him on a mission to hunt down and kill Russell Tideborn. Ajax leaves the Storme Mansion and finds himself in the courtyard. To his surprise, Russell awaits him, leaning against the Penitentiary wall. Across the courtyard, Lokanth emerges from the Medical Building, spotting his brother.
Lokanth calls out to his brother, but it's too late. Ajax charges at Russell in a rage, and Russell retaliates with magic. Before Ajax can reach him, Russell retreats up the Penitentiary walls, prompting Ajax to leap after him.
Meanwhile, Doctor Redna Hennigar releases Sister Prudence from her Anti-Magic Cell, taking advantage of the chaos engulfing The Radana Storme Institute to offer her a chance at freedom. Sister Prudence leaves and discovers a large, empty hall adjacent to the Anti-Magic Cell Block, strewn with straw, food remnants, and Human waste. Rather than risking any potential danger, she decides to ignore the room and returns to her Chapel.
On her way back, she hears screams coming from the Lower-North Cell Block and decides to investigate. She arrives just in time to overhear a sermon delivered by Sir Bellinor to a cult of guards, who have been sacrificing inmates and extracting their hearts to cleanse them of evil. Sir Bellinor warmly greets Sister Prudence, giving her credit for these actions, mistakenly believing her to be the murderer.
Sister Prudence asserts her innocence and convinces Sir Bellinor that Doctor Walmdas Kluw is the true source of the Institute's evil. To purify The Radana Storme Institute, they must eliminate him. Sir Bellinor contemplates her words and agrees, persuading his followers to join their holy quest.
As the group makes their way outside, Lokanth charges across the courtyard in the form of an ox. Reaching the Penitentiary, he reverts to his Half-Giant form just in time to cast a hold person spell on his brother. However, Ajax breaks free, and Sir Bellinor and his guardsmen witness the ensuing battle. Lokanth explains to Sister Prudence that he is trying to restrain and contain his brother before he can hurt someone, and reveals to her that Doctor Ada is the true killer. Meanwhile, realising his imminent danger, Ajax retreats from Russell, who strikes at him from a distance, and descends the Penitentiary walls.
Ajax reaches ground level but is quickly overwhelmed by guards and ranged spells. He eventually falls unconscious, teetering on the brink of death. Lokanth rushes to his defense, standing over his body.
Displaying courage, Lokanth fights off the attacking guards and Sir Bellinor before succumbing to their onslaught. With both brothers unconscious on the ground, Russell enters the mind of Sir Bellinor, masquerading as the voice of his deity, Solenoir. Manipulating Sir Bellinor's beliefs, Russell persuades him to serve Solenoir's interests. As a result, Sir Bellinor kills Ajax but spares Lokanth, seeing him as free from his brother's corruption.
