Port Atlantica
To the northernmost tip of Atlantica is its City of Port Atlantica, built as close to the tear in reality as it could get. The city is mostly human and is a cultural melting pot of people from all over the world, as well as some that come from other worlds (other Earths or otherwise). The city is a modern city from Earth with some touches of super or even alien technology closer to the tear itself. Though as cracks in reality can often displace entire buildings, there is no one style of building to the city. Many buildings are new, but with much older structures placed down from elsewhere in space and time. The streets forming a very messy web thanks to having to be built around spontaneously appearing buildings over the short months of its creation.
The city is divided into several districts, some of them like any other you'd see in a city, while others that have been more affected by the island's more unusual inhabitants. Over time the districts are likely to evolve further by the unusual nature of the island, and more subdistricts pop up. Likewise the sewer and underground electrical system has been discovered to overlap with reality displaced underground chambers and ancient aqueducts. Often requiring occasional reworking.
Law Enforcement. Law Enforcement in the city is known as the Port Atlantica Police (Otherwise known as the P.A.P.). The P.A.P. are well funded and equipped with state of the art gear thanks to donations in money and equipment by SinTek. The average beat cop wields good quality handguns (shotguns when needed) and wears light body armor. Heavier grades of law enforcement exist for super powered threats and emergency situations, and they are often backed up by SinTek's private army.
