District: Southside

Southside is a rougher and more rundown part of the city, owing to its geographic location and the strange quality of the sections transplanted there by rifts. It has plenty of housing as well as the majority of factories that the city uses. The docks more inwards to the city are mostly warehouses briefly storing goods from East Pierside, or used by local businesses. Further out East of Southside are docks dedicated to fishing, which acts as one of Port Atlantica's biggest exports. Thanks to its rundown nature and its distance from the more centralized government of the city, It is the district that sees the most small and gang based crime in the city. A fact that has created a dichotomy between a population that is hardy and hard-working and another that has fallen for the claws of the gangs and more organized, classical criminal organizations, which use it as a haven.
