District: Downtown

The busiest and most crowded portion of the city, and some of the oldest buildings (though only marginally given the nature of the city). It is home to many businesses and corporations, small and large, and high density apartments. The district is known for bad traffic and towering skyscrapers that are dwarfed only by the nearby Grand Tear. Proximity to the Grand Tear means rifts in reality are more frequent, and so many important businesses also attracts the attention of superhuman crime. For this reason, the inhabitants of Downtown are used to the strange, and are the most savvy when it comes to the quirks and bizarre occurrences that can happen in Port Atlantica thanks to the unstable reality. The district also has some of the biggest activity of law enforcement, creating routine clashes between them and superhuman crime in the area.
