District: West Pierside

West Pierside's docks handle most travel and trade coming and going from the Americas. These docks are the busiest in the city, as Atlantica's largest trading partners and immigrants come from North America. West Pierside is also one of Atlantica's most popular touristic areas, rivaling Midtown, thanks to its sunny and clear beaches in contrast to the East Pierside. For that reason, a good amount of the people one can see in the District are tourists either from outside Atlantica, or from other districts, with a more limited amount of people living autonomously, working on either transporting the goods to other districts or keeping hotels, entertainment places and other attractions of the district. Rumors occasionally surface of strange disappearances or sightings at night, but most remain isolated incidents. Still, beyond the drunken parties and celebrations, some can't deny that there is something off about the district when night falls.
