Gild Bitterway

Gild Bitterway was a gild minora to Gild Firetalon of the eova Cartel.

History

During the War of the Six, the Bitterway were persuaded to change allegiances from the Violet Accord to the Pact of the Blessèd. In this capacity, the Bitterway were poised for a surprise attack from behind on Accord forces in the Central Theater, given their residence on the west bank of Cojaea Run.
However, the Ba'athorog Frell discovered the ploy and instead, exploited the eova's natures through lies, gleld-based manipulation, and riling of their Ega using rhésal to spur the gild's shared 'cave' -- the entire gild turned on each other, resulting in mass slaughter. Those that survived were absorbed by other gilds or relocated elsewhere.
The Bitterway's demise is mentioned in Akasien Ttarvek's war poem "The Epic of the Hidden".
