The Siren's Call
Coming up to the inn, you begin to make out its size; it appears to be more of a cube in shape, rather than the taller, skinnier shape that is usual for an inn. The stone construction on the outside has a wave-like pattern that is very pleasing to the eye, and some of those stones have been painting in bright reds, yellows and oranges. The roof is made of a bright wooden colour that shines orange in the setting sun.
The second you step inside, all of your senses are assaulted from all sides. Smells of frying vegetables and roasting meats waft towards you from the kitchen. A colourful band playing a soft ballad in the corner causes your ears to perk up to what you have been told is the place to get the best music in Losgate. The Siren's Call is full tonight; the tables have navy men, sailors and travellers from all across Endaman chatting away. A few scattered bartenders wander in between the tables and serve drinks, and laughs echo through the dimly-lit interior.
Purpose / Function
Originally, this was a tavern for the various sailors of the harbour dockyards, a place where they could drink their fill and spend their time and gold on the various bands and performers passing through. In recent years, however, more and more travellers are hearing about this local watering hold and wanting to rent rooms here while they are in town.
