Losgate Shipbuilders' Ports
As you begin to sail into the harbour of Losgate, you approach two sets of dockyards. The first one, on your left, is a jutting set of straight docks, with a couple ships being loaded with small crates of goods for shipment northwards across the lake. At one of the docks, you can see a large galley being loaded with soldiers of the Imperial Navy, and another similarly sized boat is being constructed on the next berth over.
Just behind the docks, you can barely make out a few small squat buildings flying Imperial colours. Based on their size and proximity to the docks, they must be customs and security offices for the dockyard area. One of them is very large; a big A-framed structure made of wood, you can see the occasional cart or merchant caravan enter or exit its large barn-like doors.
Purpose / Function
Most of Losgate's shipbuilding power is concentrated in this small set of dockyards, with both the Imperial Navy vessels and smaller merchant ships resupplying and resting in its dozen or so berths. Many merchants who do business in the Wildwharf Market also berth their ships here for unloading, and many of them also must go through the customs offices just after the docks.
