Terrence Moutgnomery's brother, previous leader of The Jade Syndicate, current King of Irondeep. He is also the father to Trixie Mountgnomery.
My name is Arthur Mountgomery, I am the King's brother. My father, the previous King was adamant about changing the way the Irondeep gnomes have lived for many centuries. He advocated for trade with other realms and wanted to share his knowledge of engineering and magic to the world. He even fell in love with an elven diplomat (my mother). In the end his own family conspired against him and killed him in order to preserve their old way of life, and I was shunned as a half-elf. My brother, the eldest, took the throne and reverted all of the new policies father had set in place. We, The Jade Syndicate, have been a peaceful group for years, protesting in the streets, holding debates, speaking with the population. We gathered a lot of traction, and a majority of the population supported us, and many even wanted me as their king. That is, until brother decided to squash us with an iron fist.
