En Dwi Gast (a.k.a. Grandmaster)
En Dwi Gast is an Elder of the Universe. Due to his love of games and contests, he became known as the Grandmaster.
He is responsible for the creation of the planet Sakaar, where he lives.
In 2016, he represented the Elders of the Universe at the 107th Intergalactic Summit. While at the summit, he colluded with his fellow Elder the Profiteer to kill Captain Val-Lorr of the Kree Imperium, to increase hostilities in the Kree Civil War, and Emperor Stote of the Zn'rk, in order to trigger Snarkwar. Though the Guardians of the Galaxy were able to identify him as the culprit, they lacked any authority to arrest a planetary ruler, and the Grandmaster walked free.
He has one daughter, Va Nee Gast, the Voyager.
