Jarnipar
Gas giant located in the Jenat System, the home system of the Republic of Miasi. The 3rd planet in the system.
Jarnipar itself is mostly unremarkable except for its large hydrogen content which is exploited by various gas collection stations orbiting Jarnipar. The planet is mostly significant for its massive number of moons which mostly hold different forms of life. 57 of these moons have life, and there are 93 moons total. Despite all of the 57 moons having seen entirely different evolutionary histories, some have been noted to house the same species in several different worlds. This has warranted a lot of scientific investigation, but there is still no good theory explaining this. Even the Hyperion Federation is puzzled, but it is entirely possible that the entire system was engineered by some precursor race despite a lack of archaeotech in the system. Searches continue.
The republic mines the other moons. Many of these are core-mined, to a high degree of sucess, but most are mined normally from the crust. The conditions on each world can vary, some are hotter than others due to a more dense atmosphere and some are colder. This leads to a wide variety of different materials to exploit, but typically metal.
