Sir Amos Isenbar
Amos Isenbar is the oldest child of Harris Isenbar and Werthina Loke, and the heir to the family estates and fortunes, such as they are. He is 44 years old, and was born only a few days after his cousin, Odis Isenbar, whom his father adopted after the death of his brother, Harlon. Amos is quietly aware that he is only heir to the Isenbar titles and fortune because his father stole them from his cousin, Odis, upon the death of Harlon.
Amos is married to the oldest daughter of Baron Fulton am Bondari of Cyell and they have three children. The couple is rather stiff and distant when together in public, which is infrequently at best.

Amos is a strong, fit and active man. He is a capable rider and has some skill with a sword.

Amos is very nearly illiterate and is barely able to write his name. His education ended when he managed to learn to ride, use a sword and father children.

Amos is suspicious of his wife, fearing that she might be having an affair with another noble. He is far too insecure to force the issue, and chooses to ignore the fears rather than to address them in any sort of meaningful manner.

Amos is aware that, by long-standing Imessian tradition, the heir to the Isenbar dynasty is his cousin, Odis Isenbar, and not Harris, his father. Odis is either too loyal to Harris or too slow to grasp the full meaning of this fact to make it an issue himself, and Amos' sagging sense of honor does make him feel like he should say or do something about it. He does nothing, however, as any change in the status quo will only remove him from the position of power and influence he finds himself in currently.

Amos is married to the eldest daughter of Baron Fulton am Bondari of Cyell, but it is not a happy marriage. His wife, Aliya, is a vry ambitious and driven woman who is focused completely on securing for herself and her children a high, wealthier and more powerful future. Amos suspects that Aliya is having an affair with another noble, but is too indecisive and insecure to force the issue.
