Petherion Starcrowned

Petherion Starcrowned, called Theri as a nickname, is an Elf who was born in the now-ruined town of Ethaelian. His parents are the elf Ethariad Starcrowned and the Satyr Pandoriel. His birth is considered miraculous, and his parents consider him a gift from The Sisters whom they both worship and whom they have taught Theri to venerate.

Theri is a sweet boy and very sensitive. He seems to display his satyr mother’s musical talents, and it is likely that he will become a Bard when he is older.

When news of the Tarrasque heading towards Ethaelian came, Ethariad took command of a group of elves who would go and distract it to give time for the evacuation. Pandoriel delayed departing too long, hoping her love would return. Realizing that they were among the last few, Pandoriel finally accepted the help of the Fire Wasps to leave, but Theri asked if they could find his missing parent. While Naali Chamond, Rubicus Chillbrow, and Tilly Thistleshanks got the elves to safety, Natharios, the Shaper, and Tristan Holdfast sought out Ethariad and the others. Although many of the elves were dead, Ethariad lived, and they were able to soon reunite the family.
