Warduke

Warduke is a Human Fighter and a member of the League of Malevolence. Originally hailing from the world of Mystara, this fearsome warrior once fought for good causes alongside his close friend, the Paladin Strongheart. They completed many quests together and defeated many evils, but this came to an end when they sought the magical gem called the Heartstone. Strongheart believes that the gem somehow corrupted Warduke's heart, turning him to evil and splintering their friendship forever.
Warduke was hired by the Sorcerer Kelek to join the League of Malevolence and be his bodyguard. Armed with his magical sword, Nightwind, and wearing a Dread Helm, Warduke cuts an imposing figure and strikes fear into the hearts of many who oppose him on the battlefield.
Warduke battled with the Witchlight Court in the Palace of Heart's Desire and was defeated, then slain by Dawn. His old friend Strongheart used the magic in his sword Steel to return Warduke to life, then took him back to Mystara to face justice and possible rehabiliation.
