Tenzin Lurong the marked man
Humble and compassionate Tenzin Lurong grew up in a poor family with not much to their name. Around the age of 8, after the death of his father due to sickness, Tenzin awoke from a deep sleep to find a strange light radiating from his chest over his heart. Tearing open his shirt he saw that a rune inscribed circle had appeared on his skin and he had not the faintest of idea why.
When he reached adulthood his mother Suyin told him that in his family lineage, a chosen few of his ancestors would have similar symbols appear on their chests. The appearance of the mark is rare and there has not been a descendant with pure enough heart to receive it in many generations. Suyin called it the Mark of Succor and that Tenzin's destiny was to help those in need. Tenzin would then spend his years using his gift solely for the sake of helping others and rarely for himself. It didn't take long for word of his abilities to spread as travelers came far and wide to receive his help.
Now Tenzin has decided to explore Valoria and bring the solace of Morwen to all those in need. Still he wonders if there is more to this mark than his mother has led him to believe.
