Nka-Lot
Nka-Lot was a Skink Priest from Klodorex. He was a competant manager and a reasonably powerful wizard in the Lore of Heavens. He would have otherwise been just another Skink Priest.
Unfortunately, he suffered brain damage from Slann channeling magic through him and miscasting. This brain damage did not impede his spell-casting or his ability to serve as a channel, so he was sent back into battle and suffered another miscast and further brain damage.
After this happened three times, he turned into a grinning simpleton that takes great joy in pointing out obvious things.
As honor for his service and sacrifice, the other Skink priests treat him with respect and let him mull about the temples as he pleases but he is subject of pity to most other Skinks.
Huan-Kai was enraged when he discovered the ultimate cause of Nka-Lot's mental condition and this was the proverbial straw that broke the llama's back causing him to leave Klodorex and ultimately rebel.
