Dredgken pass (Dread-guh-ken pass)

Dredgken pass, is a large pass that lies in Northern Roscrea, on the border between Roscrea and Guilnile. It is currently owned by the Roscrean Empire, however, there lies no military nor civilian presence within the valley. The valley was once apart of a large trade network that was active during the golden age of the Roscrean Empire, but now lies abandoned, leaving only left behind stalls, sheds, and an increasingly broken and overgrown road between the pass. Much of the left over infrastructure in the pass has been corroded overtime. Reports from Roscrean patrol units say that there have been small operations of pirate hunting and smuggler activity within the pass, as well as strange unknown movement both on the ground and in the surrounding mountains...  

Inhabitants

Far from the scurrying eyes of civilization, lies a hidden society of an unknown species not yet recorded even within the vast halls of the endless library. These small, gray skinned creatures call themselves the Kriuken, and have made their home within Dredgken pass. They are extremely hostile to any outside influence, and are not known to speak any language spoken in man, dwarvish, or elvish. Little is known about their mysterious society, but there numbers lies somewhere within the low thousands. It is said that the Kriuken hold some type of monster in their captivity, able to bring down entire city walls, although these reports have goe uncomfiremd.
