That Day In Burgundy
I'm Looking for a local contact in France, a scribe named Geoffroi son of Johannes (Jeff-WAH). Leads point to the standard being somewhere in the region of France.
I visited the local library, but they knew nothing of Geoffroi. The scribe I spoke to took interest that I was visiting from Rome, and said he'd keep an ear out for Geoffroi or the standard.
Met a man at the Inn from the Fotizum. He knows Geoffroi, but not his location. He has other work, may be looking for help. He's hunting someone. For "Our lady" because "against her designs"
Also met two others: Raghnall and Kris. Raghnall seems to be following a vision, sent by Odin. He said something big is coming, and he expects it to happen here. Also that Odin might be another name for Jupiter.
We then met Soren, the man's squire, and Camille, a strange smelling woman who had apparently seen their target.
We met the Rat Man, who said he was working for some Lady up north. Thiton? Something like that? "Follow the stench of death"
We attacked the Rat Man anyways. He was weird, even in death. The others pulled a book of disease off him and his flute. I did get bit by several rats. They did more damage than I expected. RATS. What a stupid thing to be hurt by.
Reinard, was the name of that man apparently. I asked him again about Geoffroi, and he said he can ask his lady about it. He's planning on heading back to check in for directions anyway.
This Raghnall fellow has some interesting abilities. He healed some of my wounds!
The next morning we were greeted by The Long Night. This means trouble... and glory.
