Toussine introduced the man as Herbert, but was at a loss for words as to how to explain their relation. In the house the werewolf came from, we found a dead boy, looks about 12. Soren brought over the inquisitor, who asked a lot of questions. We told him what we could and then he called it a night. We took the boy and Herbert back to the inn where Soren and Raghnall were staying and we slept as well. In the morning, we spoke with Herbert. Seems a strange fellow, as if he knew all of us from somewhere before. Apparently he's working for Toussine (though he says for only one week, and the timescale seems all wrong), and he's looking for the horn of Ulf, same as Soren. The horn apparently grants the user some measure of control over summoned creatures.
Soren and I went back out and followed the tracks to a hidden den. It wasn't very deep until we reached a dead end with a locked and chained iron gate. Soren found a couple more pairs of footprints, and we followed a set that wore boots back towards town. Unfortunately, the tracks were at least a week old and following them into town was too difficult, even for Soren. Meanwhile, back at the tavern, Toussine and Raghnall were visited by a one-armed woman named Clairece looking for the injured boy. They returned him to his mother and after thanking them she left. Apparently she has no memory of what happened last night. She woke up in the forest with an arm missing.
When we went to visit her, a couple of people from the church were there. Thomas and Stanley, who had apparently treated her wounds earlier in the day. Soren talked to her for a while, and she didn't remember a lot of what happened yesterday after she stopped by a farm for some eggs.
We split up again, this time Raghnall and I visited the Wright's farm to follow up there. Hoarders lived there before, with a bunch of storehouses. Hasn't been occupied for some years. Mrs. Wright suggested visiting the rector, reverend Monpherson(?) to possibly find the key to the cave. Toussine and Soren went to the church to grill Stanley since he was hiding things. He apparently dug up the horn years ago and sold it for a lot of money to a stranger at the tavern, apparently only a month ago. According to Stanley, the stranger had a mustache and a scar on his eye. Stanley went on to say that he learned of the horn through a dream.
The group met up again and discussed our leads. Without much to go on besides checking in with the Inquisitor and visiting the rector about those keys, I turned to the oracle to ask where the wolf would be tonight. After a moment, Toussine had a vision that we would again do battle, this time at the Tavern! Time for round two, monster!
