(1) Worthless Captain

So a new campaign as started. Rose, my merchant friend, is having a problem. She contacted me and told me that she will need my help solving this problem, but she recommends me to get a few more people cause it can get a bit dangerous. So I searched for people with different backgrounds. I went to the guard station and got myself Cooper Toughstead, a rough and tough yeeting machine. Then I went to some shady areas to find Illumine Eoscender, a wanna be emo wamon, and finally, The Nameless One, his name is Nameless.
The job that Rose asked us to do is as follows, a man named Joshua Stevens, a worker hired by Rose, is getting his cart stolen by a bunch of bandits. Rose wants us to capture theses bandits and bring them to her. I wanted to speak to Joshua personally so I can get some better info on the whole situation, but Rose insisted that it was his day off and that she does not want to bother him. (I completely understand, but at the end of the day I didn't ask if it was his day off, I am not going into a situation blind and she knows it.) I convinced her to give me his location, and me and the boys went to visit.
We arrived at his place and he agreed to answer some questions. We asked where it happened, what they looked like, etc. The typical interrogation that you would do. Two thing that he said what that the bandits only stole his goods, after they beat him up, and that he would change his route every time he would get robbed, but regardless of that he would still get attacked. I asked him if he told anybody about the new routes and he said that he only told his brother. I asked where I can meet his brother and he told us that his brother is at the construction site helping set up the materials so Muta can build stuff (and that his brothers name is Dominick Stevens).
On our way to the construction I asked the party if it was ok for me to talk to Dominick by myself to not raise suspicion. They agreed with me and I started thinking about how I was going to handle the situation. I saw him moving some lumber so I approached him asking if I can talk with him real quick. He said that he doesn't have to much time cause he is working, so I offered to help him out. 10 minutes later. He said we were done for now and the he has some time to talk. So I cut to the chase, I told him I was a friend of his brother and that Rose contacted me to help her figure out this problem. He told me that he has no idea why they would attack him or who would do it. I asked him if there was anybody asking about Joshua the way I am, and he immediately was suspicious of me. He got tense and nervous and asked me what proof I have. I quickly gave him the original request that Rose gave me and told him that even if Rose didn't give me this job, I would still help Joshua because picking on the weak is unacceptable. He then immediately calmed all of his tits and was more open on the matter. I asked him what were the routes he took and thankfully he drew them out for me. After talking about his brother, he told me that he really appreciates me for helping his brother out and also with the construction. I told him not to mention it cause I always help the people in need. We finished the conversation with a kick ass handshake and I returned to the party. I told the party everything he said and that I don't really think he is in on it.
So to recap on all the information that we have. Joshua job consist of going from the warehouse to the market place and try to sell all of Roses's goods. When the day is done, he returns back to the warehouse with the goods and calls it a day, rinse and repeat, but on his way back he is getting attacked by bandits and the bandits only steal the goods. After every attack Joshua creates a new route and only tells his brother. According to his brother, Dominick, he has no idea who is doing this and why.
Now, the party suggest that we create a fake route that Joshua and 1 party member will follow. On top of the fake route, as we are about to head back I will tell Joshua another route that we will follow instead. The rest of the party will be a few blocks away awaiting for a signal (x party member yelling). I offered myself as Joshua's escort but Illumine said that Cooper should be the escort, which to a normal person, that would make sense. But I still insisted and I barely got Illumine to finally agreed to let me be the escort. We then agreed that I will tell Rose about this plan, and that I would tell Joshua about the new route. I did just that and awaited till morning to execute my plan.
It is now morning and its time to follow the plan. I went to Joshua's house to pick him up. We went to the warehouse packed the stuff and went to the market place. When we arrived at the market place, Joshua set up his stuff and got to selling. Everybody seemed to be happy to see him, and he seems to be doing really good. His prices are fair, people love him, he really seems to have gotten his name out there. Since everything was going smoothly I told him that I needed to use the restroom, but instead of using the restroom, I went to talk to Urian Droyn, the captain of the Knights and a respected friend. I asked him if I can borrow at least one knight so that night that knight is witness to something that may possibly happen. He told me that he doesnt have time to handel every situation, so the answer was a no. COME ON MAN! I kept insisting and he finally said that if I help him with something for free that he will give me one knight named Gwalter Triston. I said yes without hesitation, and told the Gwalter my plan and I returned to the market place.
At this point the gm called it a session. I would explain all my action cause they all have reasons, but Ill tell you when everything is resolved :P
