A journal entry of Iago - Even Crazy Crann Can't Stop Us

by Iago

Rulf the important stiff met with us. Ew had the hots and made a fool of herself.
At least when she dies in the next couple of days she can know she won’t have to face him again …

The good news is they did have some information about the land from before the fog, and even better, a map we copied. There are a couple of keeps, we hope the one we need is the closest one, not that it matters a whole lot if even 10% of the rumors of the Mournlands are true.

The bad news – much, much worse. We got to meet someone that “lived” after leaving the Mournlands. Wild eyed Crann, the experience blew up his brains – not even a single coherent sentence. His companions were the lucky ones if you ask me. He mumbled a bit of doggerel that might have had some clues, but it made no sense, and I can't remember but a phrase or two. The part that just keeps replaying "she watches you" and "you will never know happiness again. There was also something about being saved by a raven. I don't think he was saved as much as killed, but the message got lost in the mail.

The fools in our little party were more spooked than I had seen them, and even the high and mighty stick up the butt tried to talk us down, but no - no we are still planning to go to our death on the marrow.

Tried to take our minds off of our impending death with some shopping, but we don't have any money.

Looks like 2 days left to live if we can't pull something off.
