A journal entry of Iago - Castle Crowhall - bunch of miserable ......

by Iago

Still headed to the Mournlands – still have a bunch of cheery knuckleheads with me. Thankfully, the sword seems pretty passive - maybe it gots it mission accomplished and Murkwell. I can only hope. Our day of travel was pretty straight forward, no attacks or anything. Our camp though was terrible – I could hardly sleep, and I could hear the others struggling to sleep as well.

In the middle of the night, a bunch of “stick up the butt” sort of losers with Bear and Lion regalia showed up. They came upon us in the night and demanded we go see the head hoser, Aliene who apparently reports to the mega-hoser knight Fenwick at castle Crowhall.

Forcing us to load up a travel by sword they kept pushing us on, even when it was clear that we were not going to make it. I really thought we should just kill them and get it over with, but everyone else was opposed. I refused to move forward after the only answer they gave Rei, who looked like death warmed over, was that we would arrive “soon”. I was not falling for that! Shadowman wasn’t happy, but he supported me. Krazy “it’s the law” Kathrine decided to go see their grand puma, the others kinda waffled but eventually followed them.

We saw the stiffs coming back with a larger force, I wanted to hide (or just kill them), but the Shadowman saw Kathrine with them, magic messages passed and they talked him into proceeding to their keep. We got a crap welcome of course, but it least it isn’t a dungeon with a rack so it wasn’t so bad.
