Today we found a beast, if you could even call it that, attacking a group of women. The Eye of Justice spotted them - Katherine and the cursed sword agreed we had to save them. One was devoured almost whole even as we raced to them. It isn't fair, why isn't the useless guard protecting people like them rather than hassling people like me? Still the sword must be obeyed and it drove the horses forward into the fray.

It was hard fought and EW's armor got a nasty dent when it chomped on her shoulder, but we prevailed. It clearly had some sort of vendetta against goody-two-shoes, ignoring EW to turn on her. Rei got hit hard and was mostly out of it, but Bibiana was having none of that and twisted her back into the huge ape. As the hungry fiend died, gods help me if it didn't turn into a woman. The fate twister forced the dead woman to speak, the monster woman claimed to had done this to herself, her last words were to Rei and bone chilling, "keep your oath". Rei seemed struck by this and we all had a little chat. I think goody-two-shoes is hiding something, maybe she is tainted by the same life we all are.

The shadow man wanted to talk about abilities and tactics. For being a bunch of misfits sentenced to death, we seem to have a lot of skills, maybe those skills are worrisome, maybe it was less our dealings with Tito and more the flashy way we went about it. Kabuto showed an ability to make us fly. It was cool, and especially funny to see the "hero" enchanted warrior get her bell rung, plowing onto a tree.

As we settled down for the evening Bibiana asked her Traveler for more advice. The sword heard what it wanted, "stay on your path and you will find what you seek"; I don't know what the sword seeks, but I don't want to find it. Haven't found a way off this path yet - I don't suppose I will. The advice on the man in black was completely unhelpful - "unclear".
