Zenthai, The Dragon King
The Former Dragon God of Light
Zenthai, known by the title The Dragon King, was the former Dragon Deity of Zenethia, the Plane of Light, before his death in battle against Esturk, The World's End, at the end of the Fourth Age: The Age of Shadow.
Zenthai was the original ruler of Zenethia, the realm of light. Under his protection, the races of Azimuth bloomed after the Age of the Severance as he kept the threat of Esturk at bay. He was revered and honored in many great temples built in the cities across the world.
However, he was greatly wounded in his battle at the end of the Age of Zenethia, where Esturk had used the Power of Evolution to grow beyond his previous strength. It took him and the Zenethian Champions much to end the Great War and set Esturk to slumber once more.
Carrying this wound, Zenthai again faced off against the World’s End but he proved to be not strong enough. He gave his divine life to protect his new Heroes and give them the time to rally against Esturk. Through his sacrifice they were successful, and a new age for Zenethia came to be, now led by his daughter, Chedae, The Heaven's Light.

The Second Age: The Age of the Severance
After the events of the Severance, the world of Azimuth was left without gods. However, so powerful were those entities that had occupied the divine realms, echoes of the gods remained. The people of Azimuth still prayed, and these echoes heard these calls. Flowering from the seeds left behind, new entities began to coalesce. In the Divine Planes, eight new beings were made, given form and function by the faiths of the mortal races and beasts. These eight, great figures of scale and wing and claw would be named the Dragons. During the events at the end of the Age of the Severance, Esturk, The World's End, attacked Azimuth, seeking to spread suffering and destruction. Zenthai descended to the Material Plane and battled Esturk in the skies above Azimuth for twelve days and nights, until Zenthai emerged victorious and Esturk fled to the Divine Plane. For this, Zenthai was given the title The Dragon King and took his place at the head of Azimuth's new pantheon. The Third Age: The Age of Zenethia
One thousand years later, Esturk again attacked, causing much destruction to the World Tree before being repelled by Zenthai once more. The Great War
At the end of the the Age of Zenethia, Esturk used the Power of Evolution to grow beyond his previous strength. In 3A 1992 Esturk attacked Azimuth once more. Zenthai alone was not enough to prevent Esturk causing much destruction to Azimuth, including the sundering of Gimora and Endor, resulting in the Great War. Zenthai blessed six Zenethian Champions and from his own divine heart he forged the six original Zenethian Items. On 19 Adroth, 3A 2092, at the Battle of the Demons' Blood Marshes, Zenthai and the armies of Azimuth fought against Esturk and his armies of beasts and demons for days. During this battle, Zenthai carried the Zenethian Champions to Esturk and set him to a deep slumber, ending the Great War. Zenthai was greatly wounded in this battle and withdrew to Zenethia. The Fourth Age: The Age of Shadow
Zenthai knew that Esturk would return and that he alone was no longer enough to stop his after the Power of Evolution had changed Esturk. Zenthai put forward a prophecy to his followers that one day a group of Heroes would be born to fight back Esturk when he rose again. A secluded abbey was founded in a carved-out valley at the base of Azimuth’s Heart.Campaign One: The Zenethian Heroes
On 24 Felim 4A 979, the six Zenethian Children were born in Hometown, the result of Zenthai's pairing with each of the Champions. At some point, Zenthai also had his own child, Chedae, The Heaven's Light, and hid her on Azimuth in the form of a donkey. The Children first met Zenthai after recovering a Zenethian Orb and transporting to the Eternity Stair. There, Zenthai revealed their heritage and the task they were destined for. The full Zenethian Heroes next met Zenthai after gathering the Zenethian Items. Zenthai reforged and recharged the items, giving them new forms for each of the Heroes. On 2 Avedar 4A 996, the Zenethian Heroes ventured to Aktempto and fought Esturk and his Dark Champions at Doravelzog. Though still wounded, Zenthai again faced off against Esturk but he proved to be not strong enough. The fight went poorly, and he gave his divine life to protect the Heroes and give them the time to rally against Esturk. In the moment after his death, his body scattered into divine light that infused the Heroes, granting them Zenthai's Blessing and empowering them. Through his sacrifice they were successful in setting Esturk to sleep once more.Quotations
