The Zenethian Items

The Zenethian Items are a set of powerful divine relics created by Zenthai, The Dragon King. These items have been instrumental in the Great War in the Third Age, and the Tarterian War and Manslayer War in the Fourth Age. Their imagery is detailed upon countless renditions, stories, and epics.   It is not known where most of these items currently reside. They have been lost to time, said to be hidden by the fading Zenethian Heroes until such a time that they are needed to face the terror of Esturk, The World's End, once more.   It has been theorized in academic circles that these items may be crafted of Residuum. However, this is refuted by religious scholars, citing scripture which states Zenthai crafted the original items from his own divine heart and not from resources from the Material Plane.

The Zenethian Champions

When the threat of Esturk, The World's End, proved too great at the end of the Third Age, Zenthai, The Dragon King, elevated the six Zenethian Champions and from his own divine heart he forged six crystalline weapons of holy power: The Zenethian Items.   After the events of the Great War, the power held in the original Zenethian Items slowly faded over time. The Zenethian Champions hid their items in holy places and temples across Azimuth to await their progeny.

The Zenethian Heroes

During their journey, the Zenethian Heroes gathered the Zenethian Items, though they contained but a fraction of their previous power. Once all six were gathered in 4A 996, Zenthai took them, and with the addition of weapons from the rest of their party, Zenthai reforged and recharged the items, giving them new forms for each of the Heroes.   The Zenethian Axe and the Zenethian Swords were lost forever, but several new items were created in their wake.
