Tiryki Anchorage
The area East of the city proper is primarily populated by animal trainers, river folk, explorers making use of cheaper lodgings, and others of a less reputable nature than the majority of the rest of Port Nyanzaru's population. These docks are unregulated, unlike the Harbour Ward overseen by the ever vigilant Zindar, and so make for better opportunities for smugglers and the like, despite the Anchorage being less equipped for loading, and fewer workers for the task.
Unlike Malar's Throat or the Old City, there are no temples or fortifications in the Anchorage, when the alarm bells sound, people here run for the Tiryki gate into the main city, and those who can't make the distance attempt to make it to some other hiding spot. Luckily, the prevalence of animal pens and handlers mean that the domesticated dinosaurs here make short work of most incursions of undead, and it's practically impossible for any intruders, be they zombie or carnivore, to enter the Anchorage without incurring the screeching and roaring attention of the local beasts.
It's within this Eastern section that the Dinosaur Pens can be found, the great lizards unique to the Chultan peninsula are bred, trained and housed here.
