Elemental Bleed

The Phenomena known as the elemental bleed is an effect magic has on the material plane. Magic is innately uncontrollable, and some high level magics damage the weave on their journey to the material plane when spells are cast. If the damage is substantial enough to allow the plane the magic is being pulled from to affect the material plane, an Elemental Bleed occurs.

Manifestation

Dependant on the plane the magic is pulled from, the manifestations can range from a light rain to a massive earthquake or even an blight on the lands. Some of the most dangerous spells have caused even larger, long term damage.

Metaphysical, Arcane
