Materia 28: "War and Peace"

General Summary

Entangled in the wake of a tryst in Seito, Mari and Jun agree to a romantic relationship. Morotada returns from war in the northeast, bringing tidings of an Regnan offensive set for the day of the comet. Hanzo requests the party's assistance, despite promises made to Sanctity. With some deft persuasion, Mari convinces him helping Sanctity may result in gaining the assistance of Graz'zt, justifying the endeavor. Banar Do'ath tells of the movement of Velrini troops to the east.
Attending the late summer comet festival in Teikyou, Hanako shows the party along with Licina and her children Photius and Liliana around to some of her favorite spots. Returning to the palace district, Yvri stumbles across a disintegrated servant and a poisoned potion of longevity recently given to Hanzo by Shinobu, prompting questions around her loyalty. Heading to her estate in Seito, the party investigates, finding that both of her potions of longevity are untainted.
