The world of Meintalia is an ancient one steeped in magic and mystery. It's a place where the Gods roam frequently and answer to higher beings, where savage beasts and otherworldly creatures stalk the night, and where numerous sentient races live in relative harmony. Whilst just one of many countries in the world of Enaidria, Meintalia is often considered the centre of the realms as this is where the God's first began their journey into shaping the world as it is known today.

It is the first country moulded by the Gods, the first bit of the mortal realms where the divine beings stood. It's here that they began their trials of shaping the land, carving valleys and raising mountains, creating rivers and forests, where they placed their first living creations at the very begining of mortal life. Meintalia hums with an ancient, archaic magic, teeming with deep tradition and significant heritage, a sacred land to many races and cultures. But not perfect.   For every perfect plain, there exists a sinister swamp with unfathomably deep mire. Within every towering peak mountain lies a convuluted, sprawling mass of tunnels that twist and turn and seemingly have no end.For every flower that thrives in the light, there is a mangled, gnarled tree that fights to break the dim canopy and feel the sun's warmth. Meintalia is beautiful, magical and powerful, but it can be dark, uncanny and hopeless. In some ways, Meintalia is the God's first child: it holds a special place in the realms as the eldest creation, but suffers from the inexperience of it's own creators.

Meintalia is a country on the eastern coast of Nerunia, the largest continent in Luxum, the realm of light. It is ruled by The Great Empire of Passola under the reign of it’s 32nd Emperor, Garrus IV. The country is split into twelve regions, each ruled by their own monarch or overseer, with the exception of the Karagors Mountain Range where there are three acknowledged leaders in Meintalia. To the north of Meintalia, the cold country of Norwynne can be found, to the south, the country of Sashakar where the Reaching Expanse claims much of the land, and to the west Enuthia, a once prosperous land before Faramel, God of Evil, descended to Earth a 164 years ago and claimed it for his own, plunging it into darkness and decay. Meintalian’s have taken to calling this place The Deadlands as it’s inhabited primarily by demons, monsters, and many forms of the undead. Meintalia, under instruction from Empress Linea II, kindly took in any surviving refugees that made their way to the borders and held their own against Faramel in a 36 year long war, eventually losing Adale's Prairie to his influence and razing the Ryvern Plains. The regions have still not recovered. Though the war ended and Faramel’s armies have ceased invasions, evidence of his influence is still present in the Arthrypt Wetlands and other westerly areas.

Although it is ruled by the Empire, the regions respective leaders are free to rule their homes as they see fit, provided it doesn’t go against the Empires laws. The Elven Sovereignty rules over The Great Forest, Degrinoll in their tongue, whilst the The Court of Karagors rules the Karagors Mountains. The Sahlabaon Desert Desert is ruled by the The Sahlabaoan Sultanate and Sahlahkeshi people, the Arthrypt Wetlands by the Pogonian tribes, the Kalukon Snowfield by the Kalukons and the rest is ruled by various noble houses that have held power since the Empire took control. Though there are other races and organisations that claim certain regions for themselves, the Empire does not recognise them as official rulers.

For the most part, the regions of Meintalia are happy to be a part of The Great Empire, though that doesn’t stop some civil disputes. The refugees in Ryvern tend to be hostile towards any sentient races other than humans, and the Pogonian’s and Elves tend to keep to themselves. The Orcs are considered to be hostile towards all other races however this is just a trait of their culture rather than a feud of hatred or hostility.
