Ryvern Wastelands

Once known as Ryvern Plains, the wasteland was blighted and damaged beyond repair during the war with Faramel years ago. Many attempts have been made to re-settle the area and repair the damage done to the land but all have failed. There is a small forest near Leviathan's Rest that is home to several woodland creatures and plants but the rest of the area is desolate.

There are only two settlements in Ryvern, an orcish town, Tursk, and a small lakeside town, Tirney.

Geography

Situated in central Meintalia, Ryvern sits to the east of Faramel's Prairie, a dark reminder of Faramel's Invasion sat right on the doorstep of The Empire. The South Passolan Grasslands are found to the east of Ryvern, The Great Forest sits on the northern border and if you head south past Ryvern Ridge you'll reach Terra's Scar.

Ryvern is home to various different races, though none in real abundance. The Empire doesn't have a huge presence here, though that has changed in recent years with more soldiers being stationed on the eastern side of the region. People rarely jorney past the soldiers stationed here as the area grows more and more treacherous the further west you head.
