Kalukon Snowfield

The Kalukon Snowfield is an expansive tundra in the northern region of Meintalia. Home to only 3 known settlements, it seldom sees visitors. It is named after the Kalukon people that live here, though little is known about them.

Kalua is a large, walled town home to Dwarves and the Kalukon. Karmana is a large town primarily home to Dwarves and Humans and Smurn is a small village home exclusively to the Kalukon.

Geography

The Kalukon Snowfields are a sprawling tundra of ice and deep snow. Some areas are forested, though most of it is just a snowy desert. There is a mountain in the north east known as the The Glaciated Peak which overlooks it's sister in the centre of the snowfileds, Mt. Kallus. The eastern side of the snowfields is a frozen coastline and the western side borders the Karagors Mountain Range. The North Passolan Grasslands sit on the southern border and if you head north you'll leave Meintalia and enter Norwynne.

Fauna & Flora

Due to the barren and icy nature of the snowfields, very little grows here and most species are carnivourous and either live on the coast or in the forests.
