Queen of the North Lyanna Stark (a.k.a. The Bear of Winterfell)

Bio

Born in 402 AC as the eldest child of King Johnathan Stark and his wife, Sarah Mormont, Lyanna is an heir to misfortune, struggle, and tragedy. In the span of a year she lost her betrothed and the entirety of her immediate family, and immediately upon taking the throne of the North she has had to face two wars. Similarly to the rumors of how the previous tragedies awoke the "wolf's blood" in Johnathan Stark, so to do rumors circulate that Lyanna has also awoken as a result of her circumstance. Originally calm and reserved, but friendly and caring, following the death of Ser Aelyx Mopatis, her betrothed, she became distant. Many suspect that it took a toll on her to accept her fate of an arranged marriage to a foreigner, and that when he died it made that acceptance pointless. She was told to give up on love for the good of the Kingdom, only to not be able to fulfill that role and still not be able to find love either. But then everything changed when Ræva Ryswell had her parents and siblings all killed during a visit to her lands. From then on she has become cold, and bitter. She still retains a great sense of honor, but she lacks any sense of fear or restraint when it comes to passing judgement as Queen or enforcing that judgement. She has taken to the role of Queen with little hesitation and now would do anything to ensure the safety and prosperity of her people. Being the niece of Lady Maria Mormont, Lyanna had frequently visited Bear Island with her mother over the years, and in 417 AC when Maria had taken a trio of orphaned bear cubs in Lyanna had the chance to play with the young animals and form a bond with them. Later, in 419 AC, she reported to the Maester of Winterfell that she was having dreams from the perspective of one of the bears, making her the first Stark in some time to be confirmed as a beastling, and the first Stark since Bran to be more than just a warg.
