Temple of Hyn-Aelori - Archive of Emperor Mindrithar the Just
This Temple of Save K'nor, is dedicated to the Order the Hyn-Aelori (the order which collects and protects knowledge) and has within its walls one of the largest archives in the Thardic Republic and possibly all of western Hârn.
It has a university-like atmosphere, with clerics of all ranks, usually with hexagonal pendants or occasionally geometric tattoos on their faces, scurrying back and forth with books, arms filled with scrolls, reading or copying papers or in small study groups. Students and scholarly types of all ages are everywhere.
The Temple is a large stone and marble building. The outside walls are engraved with a complex web of geometric and spiral patterns, and on the roof is a set a large clear glass dome.
Set into the floor of the entrance lobby is a 5 ft tall painted statue of an open book, a representation of the Illimitable Tome, a book in which all mortal and divine knowledge kept. It is said looking too closely on the patterns and writing on the open pages will cause temporary bewilderment.

The temple has 3 Major Archives.
The Library of the Emperor Mindrithar the Just
Massive library of Historical records dating back to the early days of the Corani Empire. The Order allows limited access to trusted members of the public; otherwise, they have to pay for the time of a researcher.
The Archive of the Lost
The primary Hyn-Aelori library of Lore and hidden knowledge. It contains research papers and books compiled by scholars and Loremasters from throughout Western Lythia, although the bulk of the documents relate to Hârnic specific topics. The Archive likely holds the world’s largest collection of studies on the Ivashu. This library is not open to the public, but it is to some members of the Coranan Guild of Arcane Lore.
The Concordat Collection
A large library of holy works. It contains books of Lore from not only Save K'Nor but of all other known religions, both powerful or minor and metaphysical phenomena.
The priests have also access to the Coranan guild of Arcane Lore, the largest collection of arcane texts in western Harn. Additionally, they can use the Order of Rydequelyn archives for more general literature and the Palace of Gules for Heraldic Records.
Alterations
The building is is said to be under magical protection. Fire does not easily burn paper, wood, fiber, or cloth within the temple walls. Additionally, the air always seems dry, and mold does not grow. The light sources within are either natural (due to the glass dome), clean-burning oil lamps, or occasionally magical in nature.
Architecture
Inside are lecture/prayer halls and living quarters for the Clergy.
The library is a multilevel complex with bookshelves and compartments stuffed with books, scrolls, and other documents. These shelves are organized in the shape of a hexagon, Within this is another hexagon then another two more. There are two-level, the uppermost is the The Library of the Emperor Mindrithar the Just and the bottom, accessed thoroughly locked gates is The Archive of the Lost. The Concordat Collection is in the vaults below ground.
History
The temple building was originally a library founded by the Emperor Corthir around 318TR.
In 502TR the Emperor Mindrithar the Just transferred ownership to the Church of Save K'nor. Under his patronage, the church prospered.
During the dark days of the Theocracy of Tekhos around 570TR the Priesthood fled the city and the temple was looted of all religious texts and anything pertaining to the dark arts. It is said the priests used concealment magic to hide the most important documents.
Since then, the church has flourished. It is strictly neutral in its dealings with the other legal churches in Coranan. However, it has accepted the offer of the Church of Larani to provide patrols and guards.
D&D 5E Notes
Statue of Var-Hyvrak
Looking too closely at the writing on the Statue of the Illimitable Tome, the Book of all Knowledge, can confuse. An observer must make a DC 15 Wisdom save or be stunned for one round and not able to read the writings on this monument for a year.
Those that make their saving throw can look at this book will see their true name recorded. After looking away and back again, they will find their name will be lost among the chaotic, almost moving mixture of text and diagrams.
Footnotes
This Statue will record the true names of any who enter the temple unless the person has magical protection. Names and dates of visitors can be recovered by specific rituals known to priests of Save K'Nor.
