Temple of Peoni - Church of St Mikkel
Coranan's Major temple to Peoni, dedicated to St Mikkel of Coranan, who brought the church to Tharda.
The priestesses of the Order of the Balm of Joy reside in the west wing, while the priests of the Irreproachable Order occupy the east.
High Priest Jerom Borskin of the Irreproachable Order speaks for the temple overall but is advised by Therez Philomen, the senior priestess of the Balm of Joy.
The four outbuildings are hospitals where the orders provide care and comfort to the mentally ill, the sick, and the dying. Each order maintains two of the buildings, one for those who can afford to pay and one for those who can’t. However, care is equally good in all four hospitals.
A contingent of Checkered Shield soldiers and knights from the neighbouring Larani temple guard the church and its holy relics.
