Fixems
One of the fastest-growing workshops in the town, Fixems stands as a marker for the intersection of the Services Corridor, Entertainment District, and Market. Rory Wellins founded the workshop three months ago, building up a large workspace for as many different kinds of professions as possible, and hiring all the craftspeople she could find that were having a hard time setting up their own shops. Her intent is to create a central hub where anyone in town could come for any kind of repair and maintenance services. The slogan "You break it, we fix it!" is plastered over the front of the building, right in front of a central crossroads for many to see. The building seems almost constantly in construction, with Rory intending to expand it as much as possible. The inside consists of a large open workspace with stations organized by type of work, with a separate office area where clients negotiate out-of-shop work, such as repair and maintenance on larger machinery in the Stamp Mill.
People often see adverts for hiring new workers or enticing struggling craftspeople to join Fixems, although rumors have begun to spread Rory's true intent is to make Fixems the first true craftsman's guild in the town, finding it odd that they only do repair services considering its size. Many of the more established workers in town resent the place due to its quick growth, and some actively reject the idea of a guild due to their individualism. Some more nasty rumors say Rory is actually exploiting her workers due to their financial circumstances, preventing them from really moving forward as true craftsmen, but these rumors have never been verified.
